Bathroom Lighting Fixtures

Lighting is an important element that gives a certain effect on the space, including in the bathroom. When designing the layout of the lights in the room, we need extra attention. As we know, water and electricity are the two elements that can not be united at all. Therefore, we need to use appropriate systems and good materials  to design the bathroom lighting.  The light switch should be far from water sources. In general, there are two types of lighting that can be applied in the bathroom.

The first is comprehensive lighting to illuminate the bathroom. For this purpose, it can be installed one light point in the middle of the room. A light bulb that is hung in the middle of the room will give a dramatic effect when combined with a few lights affixed in some corners of the wall. The main lighting can also be applied in the form of halogen lamps which are routed and deployed in the middle and some corners of the ceiling with certain distances. Halogen lamps emit white light which has the advantage of clean and fresh sparkling effect.

The second is the lighting for the mirror and sink. Its application can be done by placing a small tungsten lamp or halogen lamp placed hidden. The reflection of clean light will give sparkling effect on the wall. If it is possible, the natural lighting design should be considered in the bathroom . Natural lighting can save energy and give a pleasant effect. Its application could be done by creating an open ceiling in a third of the space. The bathroom on the second or upper floors can be given a wide window that leads to certain views, such as parks. Likewise, if the room is in a position that does not deal directly with other space and no possibility to view in from outside, the opening in the shape of window can be made to bring more natural light and fresh atmosphere.
